Crabs
mainly live in the water, but some live on land for long
periods. They feed on plants as well as other insects.
They can be either a scavenger or a predator. Crabs have
many different features that allow them to move both on
land and in the water.
On
land, the generally move in a sideways motion. Although,
they can move in different directions - this seems to
be their personal preference. In water, their last two
legs are flat so that they form nice paddles. This allows
them to move efficiently through water.
