In
homes, they may damage textiles such as cotton, linen, wool,
silk, or even furs. Clothing or material soiled by perspiration
or food is more likely to attract crickets. Crickets are
most active at night and prefer to live in dark, close quarters.
To keep crickets out of the house, check for and repair
poorly fitted doors, windows and vents, and caulk cracks
and crevices in and around the foundation.
